3. Shipping & Delivery

Local Pickup

Customers may collect orders from our branches in Pretoria, Secunda, or Ballito.

Delivery Options

Nationwide delivery is available. Delivery fees vary depending on location, courier availability, and shipment size.

Important Notes

• Delivery charges are non-refundable.
• Average delivery time is 2 to 4 working days.
• Risk and ownership transfer to the customer upon collection or delivery.

8. Warranty Terms

8.1 Customer Responsibilities

To qualify for warranty, customers must:

• Use a qualified and RMI-registered mechanic for installation
• Install new oil, filters, thermostats, spark plugs, and coolant
• Flush radiator and inspect or replace pipes, pumps, seals, and gaskets
• Install a new timing belt on all belt-driven engines
• Ensure correct timing and valve clearances
• Verify proper fitment and compatibility prior to installation

LM Diversity Spares accepts no liability for damage due to incorrect installation, wrong engine/gearbox selection, inadequate cooling systems, oil leaks, or poor maintenance.

8.2 Standard Warranty

• 3-month unlimited-kilometer warranty on internal engine and gearbox components
• 7-day turbo warranty
• No warranty on accessories such as manifolds, alternators, starters, distributors, carburetors, sensors, or any external components
• No warranty on injectors
• No warranty for oil leaks or overheating
• Manual gearboxes: 3 months (internal parts only)
• Automatic gearboxes: 2 months (internal parts only)
• High-performance engines: start-up warranty only
• No warranty on modified vehicles or engines purchased for modification
• No warranty on valve stem seals

8.3 Used Transmissions Warranty

• Manual gearboxes: 3 months (internal components only)
• Automatic gearboxes: 2 months (internal components only)
• No warranty on release bearings or master cylinders
• Correct transmission oil must be used for warranty validity

8.4 Warranty Claims

Customers must provide:

• A valid invoice
• Pictures or video evidence
• A clear explanation of the defect

Engines or gearboxes may not be opened or stripped before reporting a claim.

9. Limitations

Warranty does not cover:

• Accidental damage, misuse, collisions, fires, or negligence
• Aftermarket ECU tuning or software modifications
• Labour costs, towing, courier charges, downtime, rentals
• Overheating, oil leaks, or head gasket failure
• Bent valves, lock-up, or backfire due to incorrect timing
• Damage from foreign objects entering the engine
• Electrical issues or wiring faults
• Valve stem seals
• Any damage caused by improper installation

10. Liability

LM Diversity Spares is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use, installation, or failure of any engine or gearbox.

Refund & Returns Policy

15. Return Window & Conditions

• Returns accepted for defective and non-defective items
• 30-day return window from date of delivery
• Returned engines/gearboxes must be undamaged and include all original components

16. Exchanges

• Exchanges accepted within 30 days, subject to stock availability
• 7-day exchange window applies for defective engines

17. Return Costs

• Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
• A 15% restocking fee applies to correctly supplied items
• Deposits, courier fees, labour charges, and delivery fees are non-refundable

18. Refund Processing

• Refunds processed within 7–14 working days after management approval
• Refunds issued via original payment method or store credit
• A 3% admin fee applies to card-payment refunds

19. Holding Deposits

• All holding deposits are non-refundable
• A holding deposit secures an engine for 30 days
• Failure to complete payment within 30 days results in forfeiture
• After expiry, the engine returns to open stock

20. Lay-By Payment Options

• Lay-by available for 3 months
• All lay-by payments are non-refundable
• Engines/gearboxes are released only after full payment
• Late or missed instalments result in cancellation and forfeiture
• The engine returns to open stock after cancellation

21. Final Notice

LM Diversity Spares strives to provide high-quality new and used automotive spare parts.

Proper installation, correct timing, and adequate cooling systems remain the responsibility of the customer.

Failure to follow manufacturer guidelines or installation standards may result in warranty loss or product failure.
